Sarkodie has ignited a rap feud between Nigeria and Ghana after spewing bars and mocking several Nigerian artists on his song “Brag
On ‘Brag’, the sharp-tongued Ghanaian rapper boasts about his career, growth, and success.He continues by saying that none of them are his competitors since by the time Davido arrived, he had already developed his craft and rap reputation.
A diss track directed towards “Brag” has been released by Nigerian rapper Dremo Drizzy, who is connected to Davido. In a new song titled “Burn,” the Nigerian rapper referred to Sarkodie as “Baba Dudu” and called him “delusional.”We don’t really care if you arrived before Wiz, OBO, Burna Boy, Asake, and Black Sherif, Baba Dudu, because it’s not that far. Dremo rapped, “Everyone you mentioned is doing better… concentrate on Medikal, Shatta Wale, and co.”
He dared Sarkodie to respond with a different verse, saying, “Michael Owusu Addo, you losing my bro if you don’t respond.”
Dremo made further reference to Sarkodie’s back and forth with Yvonne Nelson regarding the disclosure of their covert romance in her “I Am Not Yvonne” in an effort to incite a response from the Ghanaian rapper.
However, Sarkodie only schooled and marked Dremo’s track, saying “He’s got potential” adding that with a few touches, he will be good to go.
This Sarkodie reaction seems not to be enough for Dremo who has decided to drop another track today, 13th May 2024, to seek a response from Sarkodei. Dremo titles the new one “When You Gonna Reply.”
